Monica and Megan Stewart often dreamed of a classical, Christian hybrid school that encouraged parents to participate in their children’s education and preserved margin for Christian ministry. When Megan sensed God’s call to begin The Redimere School, Monica was grateful to join in its founding work.

Monica holds a master’s degree in leadership and organizational management, earned while serving on active duty as a U.S. Navy communications director. During her twenty years in the Navy, she oversaw the Media Department aboard an aircraft carrier, earned designation as a Master Training Specialist, authored a rate training manual, and led chief initiation season. These experiences strengthened her ability to build systems, train teams, and steward organizational culture. She now brings these strengths to Redimere’s operational leadership. 

As the mother of four Redimere students, Monica lives the same home‑day rhythm as other families, giving her a unique awareness of family needs and large‑family dynamics. Her hobbies include reading, playing games with her family, and visiting national parks.
