Megan and her husband, JK, have spent years boldly trusting God and walking by faith through many challenging situations. In 2026, God worked profoundly in their hearts, minds and home. He blessed them with a third child and gave them a clear vision to start The Redimere School. 

The direction has been clear from the beginning: to equip and empower families to participate in their children’s education. Megan has a deep conviction that education should be joyful, childhood deserves to be guarded, and the goal of Christian educators should be to create lifelong learners who know and love Jesus. These passions are rooted in some of Megan’s favorite years teaching her own children and walking alongside families in a collaborative school model. Much of The Redimere School’s curriculum is written by Megan herself to ensure a curriculum that flows seamlessly from campus days to home days, guarding the home day’s schedule with margin for habits of the home and ministry.  

Megan has been teaching since 2008, with experience in public, classical, private, and homeschool settings – both in traditional and hybrid models. She has a background in gifted education, as well as career experience accommodating a variety of learners. She is known as a teacher who makes learning come alive. Megan has always appreciated art and can boast a number of creative endeavors from her childhood to present day that strengthen her own skills and her appreciation of God as Creator. These creative instincts enrich both her teaching and her curriculum design, helping her cultivate beauty and hands-on learning for children.

Ever observant and passionate about discerning and serving children and families, and now with 15 years’ experience as a marketing business owner alongside her husband, Megan is joyfully driven to lead The Redimere School as Academic Dean. She knows well the importance of a teacher’s work and their need for support and appreciation. She considers it a high honor to serve and lead the Redimere teaching staff in equipping Christian families through education.

Megan’s hobbies are painting, writing, reading children’s fiction chapter books, and leading her children to enjoy God’s world with all their senses.
