Mathematics is a wonderful example of God’s orderly world and a delight to participate in when children (and parents) feel confident. At Redimere, we desire to set students and families up for math success—giving them plenty of practice and real-world applications so that they never have to ask “When am I ever going to need to know this?”

The Math Program
At Redimere, we desire to set students up for math success by giving them plenty of practice and real‑world application so they can quickly and confidently handle the everyday math of adulthood, while also cultivating enthusiasm for the mysteries found in mathematical logic and strategy puzzles.
Our Approach
At Redimere we teach math in a 3-tier approach: Drill, Discovery & Delight. Students learn tried-and-true math facts and algorithms first. As they become comfortable with a new procedure, they are taught the concepts behind it (the “method behind the math”). This is where the “aha” moments happen. We follow up with enjoyable opportunities to tackle more advanced math problems through our weekly “Logic & Problem Solving” class.
Drill
- Memorize math facts and multiplication tables through 20 x 20
- Quickly add, subtract, multiply and divide 2-digit numbers
- Memorize common squares and cubes
- Identify and apply the laws of mathematics
